18 (The breaks pt. 2)

Well to my surprise, I’m back in business and my car is running smoothly. I ended up taking an Uber to work and then made a reservation for a rental car this morning, only to find out that by 10:30am the dealership had already fixed my car and it was 100% covered by my factory warranty.  Fortunately I had not gone to pick up my rental, and was able to cancel without any hassles, so aside from having to hitch a ride to work and to the dealership, everything was smooth sailing (minus the fact that I had to deal with my newish car breaking down). 

The plus side is that I’ve now found a dealer that’s much closer to my house than the one where I bought my car, so I now have an alternative in case I need to have any other work done.
